Updated: Aug 13, 2022

Frankenmuth resident, experienced board member, education advocate, teacher, mom of 5 and Lisa Hubbard is excited to serve students & schools on the Board of Education.

Frankenmuth resident, Lisa Hubbard, is seeking a seat on the Frankenmuth Board of Education in the November, 2022 general election. She moved to Frankenmuth with her family when her husband, Brad Hubbard, accepted a pastoral position at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and her family jumped right into the wide variety of activities that Frankenmuth offers. You can almost always find the Hubbards on a field, in the gym or at church ... with 5 school-aged children, there's rarely a pause in the excitement!

Lisa served on the Board of Education in Battle Creek, Michigan where she was elected twice and served as the trustee, secretary and then as the Vice President of the Board before moving to Frankenmuth. She was also an active parent in parent-teacher organizations, educational foundations and helped form a Joint Taskforce for Educational Equity which brought 4 local school districts together for one cause.

Lisa has long been an advocate for public education and has experience advocating for and with families , educators and fellow school board members not only locally but also in Lansing and Washington DC.

“I have a heart for students and their families. Advocating for the best educational environment & experience has always been a top priority.”
