As a mother of five in the Frankenmuth School District, Lisa Hubbard will be devoted to student safety and well-being, academic achievement and excellence, teacher encouragement and support, clear communication with families, and engagement with the community in the educational process. Lisa is an experienced educator having taught at both the elementary and middle school levels. She is a fellow of the Michigan Political Leadership Program and has previous board experience. She was elected two times to the Harper Creek Community Schools Board of Education and served on many committees including a Joint Task Force for Educational Equity in Battle Creek, Michigan. Lisa has a Bachelor's Degree in Education, a Master's Degree in Theology, and is finishing a second Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication from Michigan State University (Fall ‘22).

Lisa is passionate about educating, empowering, and equipping young people for life! She is skilled at listening, processing difficult topics, and engaging others in conversations about the future of education. She is not afraid to make difficult decisions that will benefit the education of our students. She desires strong partnerships between families and educators and community partners to provide a high quality educational experience for all students.
